iCommands is a collection of commands used to interact with an iRODS server.

To see what versions of iCommands are available and if there is more than one, which is the default, along with some help, type

module spider icommands

To use iCommands, include a command like this in your batch script or interactive session to load the iRODS-iCommnds module: (note ‘module load’ is case-sensitive):

module load iRODS-iCommands

Type module help iRODS-iCommands for a list of included tools and more help.
