The Rosetta software suite includes algorithms for computational modeling and analysis of protein structures. It is made available through Rosetta Commons, a central hub for developers across the globe to contribute to and share the Rosetta source code.
PSC users who wish to use Rosetta on Bridges must have an academic license for Rosetta from the University of Washington. Rosetta licenses are available to all non-commercial users for free. See the Rosetta Commons site or the licensing page for details and to get a license.
Once you have a license, request access to Rosetta on Bridges by submitting the Rosetta request form.
Sample scripts for Rosetta use are available in directory /opt/packages/examples/rosetta on Bridges.
Usage on Bridges
Before you can use Rosetta on Bridges, you must
- Have a valid PSC account. If you do not have a PSC account, see information on how to apply.
- Obtain a non-commercial license from the University of Washington
- Submit a request for access to Rosetta on Bridges
Once you have permission to use Rosetta on Bridges, use the module command to set up Rosetta for use.
To see what versions of Rosetta are available type
module avail rosetta
To see what other modules are needed, what commands are available and how to get additional help type
module help rosetta
To use Rosetta, include a command like this in your batch script or interactive session to load the Rosetta module:
module load rosetta
Be sure you also load any other modules needed, as listed by the
module help rosetta command.
