This workshop will present examples of projects which successfully used high-performance computing (HPC) by researchers outside of the traditional HPC community, in fields such as social sciences, the arts, and humanities. The barriers involved in using HPC in non-traditional areas and some practical approaches to overcoming them will be also be discussed.
